Hi friends, I’m back with another card – one that could be used for any occasion. This card didn’t take a lot of time to make, and it turned out quite nice.
I used my Recollections white 110lb cardstock to make the 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch card base. For the card front I used a light blue cardstock from the Recollections 110lb Oceans pack. I cut it to 4 x 5 ¼ inches. I used my daisy bouquet stamp to stamp the image on the card front using VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze. This time I used a sparkly embossing powder to give it a nice sparkly effect. The embossing powder I used was Recollections Blue Blaze sparkle embossing powder. I like the subtle sparkle it gives to the card.
For the sentiment I chose ‘there’s always a reason to smile’ from a random stamp set I have. I used a small rectangle cutting die to cut out the sentiment.
To piece everything together I used Craft double sided glue tape to adhere the card front to the card base and also to adhere the sentiment to the front.
