Thank you cards are also wonderful cards to send to remind people how thankful you are. We can always find something to be thankful for. In this day and age, when life seems to be so busy, it’s great to remind people you’re thankful for them. Maybe they’ve done something kind to help you out or maybe they’re just someone who is always there for you no matter what. Whether you send them a card, drop them a quick text, or give them a call, I encourage you to let someone know you’re thankful for them.
For this card I made the A2 card base (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch) out of Recollections 110lb white cardstock. I used the same paper to make the card front, cutting it to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches. I used black cardstock to make a layer slightly larger than the card front to give it that nice, black outline. I cut the black cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches.
On the card front, I used the Simon Says Stamp Vintage Garden stamp set to stamp some flowers on the left side and the bottom right corner using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and embossing it with Recollections clear embossing powder. I stamped the elegant ‘Thank You’ stamp from that same set using the same ink and embossing powder.
As I finish this blog, I again want to remind you to reach out and thank someone today. You never know how it could boost someone’s whole day. Your words may be exactly what they need to hear today.
