Do you know anyone who is chasing after some big dreams? Maybe you know someone who had some big dreams, but life got in the way and they’ve set their dreams aside. Why not send a card encouraging them to dream big?
For this card, I made the A2 card base (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch) out of Recollections 110lb blue cardstock from the Ocean pack. I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches to line the inside of the cardstock so the personalized message will show up better than on the blue cardstock.
For the card base I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches and ran it through my Gemini Jr with my butterfly embossing folder. I then cut it down to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches.
For the sentiment, I cut a strip of clear vellum to 2 ¼ x 4 ½ inches. I used VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze to stamp a butterfly on one side and embossed it using Recollections clear embossing powder. For the sentiment, I chose ‘Let your dreams take flight’ stamping it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and embossing it with Recollections clear embossing powder.
To attach the vellum, I used Craft double sided glue tape on the back of the card front and folded the sides of the vellum to attach it to the glue tape. I then attached the card front to the card base using Craft double sided glue tape.
I think this cute butterfly card would cheer up anyone who is needing an encouraging reminder to dream big.
