I’m back with another ‘thinking of you’ card as those seem to be my go to cards to make. This one turned out so pretty and didn’t take much time at all to make. Remember, not all cards have to be extravagant. Sometimes the simplest cards turn out to be the most loved.
Once again, I created an A2 card (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch) out of Recollections white 110lb cardstock. I left it blank inside for lots of room to write.
For the card front, I chose a light blue/green Recollections 110lb cardstock from the Ocean pack and cut it in half. I ran it through my Gemini Jr with a Simon Says Stamp rose flower frame cutting die. I then trimmed it to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches to fit the card. I lined it up so I could see where I wanted to stamp my sentiment. I stamped ‘thinking of you and smiling’ in the lower right corner of the cut out area. I used Versa Fine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed it using Recollections clear embossing powder.
To finish it off I simply glued the die cut cardstock to the front of the card using Bearly Art precision glue. So simple to make, but so pretty. I think whoever receives this card will enjoy its simple elegance.
