Sending Love purple hearts

Here is a card that can be sent on any occasion. The sentiment simply says ‘sending love’ which is pretty generic.

To create this card, I used Recollections white 110lb cardstock to make an A2 card (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch).

For the card base I cut another piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches. I ran it through my Gemini Jr. with my hearts embossing folder. I used my finger dauber to blend Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Wilted Violet ink over the embossed card front and I trimmed it to 3 13/16 x 5 1/16 inches (I eyeballed it and measured after).

Next, I used some white cardstock and some heart die cuts in two different sizes and ran those through my Gemini Jr. I cut out two small hearts and one larger heart. On one of the small hearts, I stamped a ‘sending love’ sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed it with Recollections clear embossing powder. The other small heart I covered in Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Wilted Violet ink using my finger dauber.

I attached the card front to the card base using Bearly Art precision glue. Next, I attached the small sentiment heart to the top left corner using the same glue. I glued the larger heart a little lower down to the right side and glued the small purple heart inside the larger white heart.

I left the inside of the card blank so there’s plenty of room to personalize a message.
