This beautiful card would be wonderful to send to a friend to let them know how blessed you are by their friendship. Really, it could be sent to anyone who has blessed you throughout your journey in life.
This A2 card (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch) was made using white Recollections 110lb cardstock. The sentiment was also cut out using white cardstock. I used one of my rectangle dies and ran it through my Gemini Jr.
For the card front I cut a piece of holographic cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches and ran it through my Gemini Jr. with my polka dot embossing folder. I must say, holographic cardstock that has been embossed is stunning! It gives such a beautiful dimensional rainbow effect.
I trimmed the card front down to 3 ¾ x 5 1/16 inches and attached it to the card base using Bearly Art precision glue.
I searched through my stash of ephemera and found a beautiful bird’s nest and a bird that I’d picked up somewhere along the way. I thought they suited this perfectly, so I attached the nest to the lower left corner and the bird to the upper right corner using Bearly Art precision glue.
To finish this card off I stamped a ‘blessed beyond measure’ sentiment using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink onto the white rectangle I had die cut and heat set it using Recollections clear embossing powder. I attached that to the center of the card using Bearly Art precision glue.
I left the inside of the card blank so the sender can write their own message.
I really love the effect of the holographic cardstock with the polka dot embossing. Such a beautiful, shimmery rainbow!
