Holographic Flowers

Hello again, I’m back with another holographic card as I’m really enjoying making them right now. I’m trying out some of my different embossing folders.

This A2 card is made with 110lb Recollections cardstock from the Very Violet pack. Because the inside is purple, I added a piece of white cardstock cut to 4 x 5 ¼ inches and adhered it with Craft double sided glue tape.

For the card front I cut a piece of holographic foil cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches. I ran it through my Gemini Jr. using a flower embossing folder. I trimmed it to 4 x 5 ¼ inches and adhered it to the card base using Craft double sided glue tape.

I love how this embossing folder has the flowers at the top of the card with long stems at the bottom. It allows for a large sentiment to be placed over the stems. For this card, I chose the word hello. I die cut it from the Honey Bee Stamps Bitty Buzzwords using the same cardstock as the card base. I die cut the outline in vellum. I adhered the word to the outline using Bearly Art glue and used that to also adhere it to the card front. I think it looks so pretty!
