Dandelion Friendship

Hey friends, here’s another friend card. There are many ways to let your friends know how valuable they are to you. Sending them a card is simply one way. However you connect with your friends, remember to let them know how much you value them.

Today’s card is another simple black and white card. You can’t really go wrong with black and white. The A2 card base (4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch) is made of white Recollections 110lb cardstock as is the 3 7/8 x 5 1/4 inch card front. I cut a 4 x 5 5/16 inch mat from black cardstock.

I decided to use a large stamp for this card, so I used my MISTI to position the stamp and the sentiment. I chose a large dandelion stamp and a beautiful sentiment that says, “Our friendship means the world to me.” Both stamps are from the Simon Says Stamp set entitled ‘Dandelion Messages’. I stamped them both using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and heat set them using Recollections clear embossing powder.

I adhered the black mat to the card base and then the card front to the black mat using Craft double sided glue tape. And just like that, another card is done. The inside is blank leaving plenty of room for a personalized message. Feel free to copy this idea or make a card of your own and send it to a friend you value. I guarantee it will make their day.
