Mistletoe Bunnies

Today’s sweet card was so easy to make. I started with an A2 card base made from Recollection 110lb cardstock, but this time in blue instead of the traditional white I usually make. I also cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches to glue to the inside, so the writing stands out better.

For the front of the card, I stamped two sweet bunnies, nose to nose, under a mistletoe. I also stamped a ‘just for you at Christmas’ sentiment. I stamped everything in VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and heat set it with Recollections clear embossing powder.

With my Gemini Jr. I cut the bunnies and mistletoe out using a stitched square die and the sentiment in a stitched rectangle die. Using Forever In Time glue tape runner, I adhered these both to the front of the card.

I felt the card needed just a little something more, so I glued a few clear gems around the sentiment and a few around the bunnies. I felt that was all that was needed.
