Snowman

It’s nearly impossible to go through the Christmas season without seeing a snowman, at least where I live. There are often snowmen of all sizes in people’s yards. There are snowman ornaments and decorations around town and in stores. So, I decided to make a snowman card.

I started with my usual A2 card base made from Recollections white 110lb cardstock. For the front of the card, I decided to look through my mountains of Christmas scrapbook paper and chose a black paper filled with colorful dots. I cut a piece to 4 x 5 inches. I wanted the snowman to be in the center of the card on a white background, so I used one of my Creative Memories circle cutters and cut a circle in the middle of the scrapbook paper but slightly towards the top. I adhered the scrapbook paper to the card base with my Craft glue tape runner.

Inside the white circle I stamped a cute snowman and a ‘merry christmas’ sentiment using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink. I heat set it with Recollections clear embossing powder.

This card turned out to be bright and cheery with the colorful dots. I hope your Christmas is also bright and cheery this year.
