This birthday card turned out great. I really like the color combo and the gold sparkles!
I used a couple of strips of mint tape to mask off a section that I added Tim Holtz Victorian velvet distress oxide ink to. On the white space next to it, I stamped a sentiment from the Forever In Time It’s Your Day stamp set. I stamped it using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink.
I found a beautiful large feather ephemera that I thought would look great on the inked section. Before adding it, I decided I wanted some gold splatters on the card as the feather has some gold on it. I added some tarnished brass Distress mica spray on the card. That little bit of gold splatter added the perfect touch.
Once the mica spray dried, I adhered the feather to the card using Bearly Art glue. On the inside I stamped a simple Happy Birthday. This card is quite beautiful.
