Do you have someone in your life that is your whole world? If so, this is a great idea for a Valentine’s card. It’s important to remind that special someone how much they mean to you. We can tend to live our lives so busy that we forget the simple things like letting that special someone know how important they are in your life. Be careful not to take your loved ones for granted.
I enjoyed making this card as I really like this world map stamp. The simple stamping with the splatters suits it well. I stamped the map in VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and stamped the sentiments in VersaFine Clair tulip red. I used Recollections clear embossing powder to heat set everything.
To add a little something special I spritzed the card panel with Tim Holtz brushed pewter distress mica spray. I love the mica sprays as they give just that little bit of shine, elevating the card.
However it suits you, I encourage you to let those who are a special part of your world know just how special they are to you. Everyone needs to know they’re loved.
