Be Mine, Valentine

Okay, I’ve been on a kick of making Valentine’s cards lately. I think this will be the last actual Valentine’s card I’ll make for now. I’m sure I’ll make some that can be used as Valentine’s cards, but they can also be used for other occasions too.

For this A2 card I used white cardstock for the base and a glittery cardstock for the panel. The panel is an ombre pink to silver. I used a heart embossing folder and ran it through my Gemini Jr. The glitter cardstock looks so pretty when it’s embossed. I stuck it to the card base using Tombow Xtreme adhesive.

I used some heart cutting dies to cut out three hearts, the largest one in white and the smaller two in the darkest pink part of the glittery cardstock.

On the white heart I stamped Be mine, Valentine in VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and heat set it with Recollections clear embossing powder. I popped all three hearts up on foam tape.

I love how sparkly this card is. The sparkly hearts match the Valentine vibe well.
