Snowflake Wishes

As the weather becomes colder here, it won’t be too long before we see beautiful snowflakes swirling down to earth. They look so majestic and peaceful as they flutter through the crisp air, each one different from the other.

I recently purchased this beautiful snowflake embossing folder by Tonic Studios called Winter’s Veil – Baroque Snowflake Embossing folder. I used dark metallic paper to emboss it and it makes me think of a dark winter night. I cut the panel down to 4 x 5 ¼ inches and rounded the corners. I adhered it to a white card base using art glitter glue.

I have a white shimmery cardstock that I used to die cut the sentiment as well as a couple of snowflakes from a Recollections snowflake die set. The sentiment is by Creative Expressions, and it simply says Snowflake Wishes which is perfect for this card.

I adhered the sentiment and the snowflakes to the dark snowflake panel with Bearly Art glue and then added a water droplet gem to the centers of the two snowflakes. I don’t think anything more is needed for this card.
