I don’t normally make cards for Halloween, but as a part of the fall design team for Aall Scrapbook Essentials – Home I was given some Halloween papers to use. I didn’t want to make just a plain Halloween card, so I decided to make a treat holder decorated for Halloween and attach it to the front of a card. It was so cute I made two!
I made two treat holders from black cardstock and decorated them with papers from the Simple Vintage Scary Stories 6×8 paper pad by Simple Stories. I used papers from that same pad to decorate the front of the card base before adhering the treat holders to the cards. I stamped sentiments inside the cards using the Spellbinders Sunday Drive All-Occasion Sentiments stamp set. One card says Happy Halloween and the other says Delivering Bugs & Hisses.
To finish off these sweet cards, I filled the treat holders with a variety of Halloween candies. These cards look quite adorable.
