Snowflake Wishes

There is something so beautiful about fresh falling snow. I’m always excited for the first snowfall of the season. I’m hoping it arrives here soon!

Tonight, I created this beautiful snowflake card. I have a large wooden stamp with snowflakes all over it and I inked it up with tumbled glass distress oxide ink. I stamped it onto a panel of white shimmer cardstock and heat set it with clear hologram sparkle embossing powder. It gives the snowflakes a subtle shimmer in the light. Before adhering the panel to the card base, I ran the ink pad over the edges of the card, giving it a nice light blue border. When it was dry, I adhered the panel to the base with scor-tape.

I have this beautiful die by Creative Expressions that says Snowflake Wishes. I cut it from white cardstock and inked it with the tumbled glass distress oxide ink. When that was dry, I adhered it to the card using Bearly Art glue.

I hope you’re choosing to see the beauty in the changing season. While change isn’t always comfortable, there is always beauty to be found in it.
