With just over a month until Christmas, I’m back with another Christmas card. Actually, today I have two Christmas cards, basically the same, just different colors. I created these cards as a part of the design team for my local scrapbook store – Aall Scrapbook Essentials – Home.
To create these cards, I cut two panels to 4 x 5 ¼ inches. I used red shimmer cardstock for one and dark metallic foil cardstock for the other. I ran both panels through my embossing machine with the Spellbinders Stargazer embossing folder and adhered them to the card bases with scor-tape.
I die cut the word joy from the Uniquely Creative Jolly & Joy die set twice. I cut one from white cardstock and one from silver foil cardstock. I also used those same colors of cardstock to cut out two worlds from the Uniquely Creative Travel the World die set. And with the same cardstock colors I cut out the words ‘to’ and ‘the’ using an alphabet die set.
Next, I adhered ‘joy to the world’ to each card using Bearly Art glue. I put the white sentiment on the red and the silver sentiment on the dark metallic.
To finish the cards off, I stamped a Christmas greeting inside each card using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and stamps from the Stampendous ‘Tis the Season stamp set.
These are two pretty and easy to make Christmas cards to add to my stack of cards I’m preparing for the season. I hope you’re also enjoying prepping for Christmas!
