Belated Birthday

Hey friends! So last time, I mentioned that I needed to get a bunch of birthday cards done to send out this month. Well, that hasn’t happened yet so here I am with a belated birthday card. At least my friends and family will know I was thinking of them.

So, for today’s card, I started with a stencil for the background. I used a stencil from Kindred Stamps along with some speckled egg distress oxide ink. I purposely applied pressure in different areas through the stencil, so some spots are darker than others.

I grabbed these two adorable Kokorosa snails from my little dish of things I’ve previously die cut. I also grabbed some tiny Lawn Fawn treats from the same dish. I glued these all onto the card.

I have this wonderful Belated Birthday stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps that I’ve been getting a lot of use out of lately. I stamped ‘I didn’t forget your birthday…’ on the front, and inside I stamped ‘ I’m just extending the celebration!’

I am working at getting birthday cards sent out in time, but at least I have this cute belated birthday stamp set for those times I need to use it. At least the recipient will know I was thinking about them.
