Hey friends! Lately I have really been enjoying playing with products from 49 and Market. They have so many beautiful collections! For today’s cards I used the Vicki Boutin Collection called The Flower Emporium Icon Ephemera Bits. There are 217 gorgeous die cuts in this collection.
To create these cards, I cut some white cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ inches. For the first card, I lightly ink blended some picked raspberry distress oxide ink just right of the center of the panel. I then used the same ink and stamped the Vintage Script stamp by Uniquely Creative over the ink blended area. I then smooshed a bit of the ink on my glass mat and added a spritz of water, dabbed a small paint brush in it, and splattered ink all over the panel. I added the same ink to the four sides of an A2 card base.

When the ink was dry, I adhered the panel to the card, then added some black and white leaves and a pink flower from the ephemera pack, positioning them over the inked area. I popped the flower up on foam tape for added dimension.
For the sentiment, I stamped ‘bloom as you are’ from the self care sentiment stamp set by Alex Syberia design. I used the coordinating die to cut it out, cutting two extra pieces. I glued them together to give added dimension and then glued the sentiment onto the card.
For the second card, I gently ink blended squeezed lemonade distress oxide ink through the Random Bubbles stencil by TCW, focusing the ink to the right of the center. I used the same ink to color the edges of the card base.

I adhered the panel to the card and then chose some yellow flowers from the ephemera pack, again backing it with foam tape for dimension.
I used the same stamp set for the sentiment, this time choosing the one that says ‘you are important’. I cut it out with the die, again cutting two extra pieces. Once I glued them together, I glued them onto the card.
I think the splash of ink behind the floral pieces along with the raised sentiments give these cards a more elegant look.
I am definitely enjoying playing with these 49 and Market products and have recently purchased the Echoes of Time collection which I’ll be doing a YouTube video for in the next day or two.
