Hey friends, are you prepping for Christmas yet? I know it’s not as common in this day and age to send physical Christmas cards, but I still enjoy sending them. I enjoy making them too, so that’s a bonus!
For this card, I made the A2 card from Recollections white 110lb cardstock. I chose not to add a panel to the front this time, I just created on the card itself.
To add some color, I used mint tape to mask off the upper portion that I wanted to keep white. On the bottom portion, I used my domed foam blender to add Tim Holtz lucky clover distress oxide ink to make it a nice green. I removed the mint tape to reveal that nice, crisp line.
I found four small stamps with branches and/or pinecones and used those to randomly stamp all over the green portion using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink. Using the same ink, I stamped Merry Christmas in the white space. I added three small black gems in the white space, just above the green line on the right side of the sentiment. This finished the card off beautifully.
