This was a delightful card to make. There’s just something so cheery about the colors of the rainbow! Combining rainbow colors with Christmas cards has been quite fun for me this year.
For this card, I used my A2 card base made from Recollections 110lb white cardstock. I used two small tree stamps that I found in my stash of Christmas stamps, and I stamped them in rainbow colors using a mixture of inks from Forever In Time and Hampton Art. I filled the card with the trees which ended up being five rows of six trees.
I chose a sentiment from a Christmas stamp set I got at Michaels and stamped it on white cardstock using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink. I cut it out using a rectangle cutting die.
I decided to pop the sentiment up using Scotch foam tape. I put the sentiment in the center of the card. And this card is done.
The colors of the trees remind me of the little lights on my Christmas tree, which makes me excited to put my tree up soon. I hope this card brings a smile to your face and reminds you to always keep your light shining to those around you, whether it’s the Christmas season or not.
