Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope your holiday is filled with love and laughter. This is my last Christmas card for this year. For this next week I’ll be enjoying time with my family.
This A2 card was made out of Recollections white 110lb cardstock. For the front of the card, I found this beautiful star scrapbook paper and cut it to fit the front of the card, adhering it with Craft double sided glue tape.
I wanted a strip of gold sparkles or glitter down the left side, so I dug through my stash of supplies. I decided to go with this super sparkly gold corrugated cardstock. I cut it to just over half an inch wide and 5 ½ inches long. I used Bearly Art glue to secure it towards the left side of the card.
For the sentiment, I chose a stamp that says ‘Seek Him this Christmas’ and I also used a star of Bethlehem stamp. I stamped these onto a cream colored cardstock from the Recollections coffee and cream pack. I stamped them with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and heat set them with Wow metallic gold rich super fine embossing powder. I used the third smallest die from the Sizzix Framelits regal labels by Stephanie Barnard. I used the next size larger to cut out a gold border. I used a gold handmade paper by Recollections. It has some pretty dot texture to it. I glued the cream paper to the gold paper and glued that to the card.
