Hey everyone, I hope your day is lovely so far. Mine is as I’ve been crafting. Here is a Valentine’s card I enjoyed making.
I used my MISTI to place a white card panel in and position the stamps I’d chosen. Both stamps are from the Close to my Heart Skylark Scrapbooking Workshop set. Towards the top I stamped ‘you left an imprint on my’ using Close to my Heart black ink. Underneath that I stamped the heart in Close to my Heart cranberry ink.
The red is such a beautiful red that I decided to swipe the red ink along the edges of the white card base giving the card a beautiful red border. This really makes the heart stand out. I adhered the panel to the card using Tombow Xtreme adhesive. This card is quite simple, but elegant. Sometimes less is more.
