A Brew-tiful Fall

The leaves outside my window are turning beautiful shades of yellows, reds, oranges, and browns. Fall is definitely here. The temperature is dropping, giving us a much appreciated respite from the summer heat. The change in the weather and the beautiful leaves outside my craft room window were the inspiration for this card.

I have this wonderful coffee cup die set from Lawn Fawn that I used with some brown and beige scrapbook paper to create this large coffee cup. I have another die set from Lawn Fawn that has these great leaves. I die cut them from white cardstock and used brown, red, orange, and yellow inks to give them some fall vibes. I added three leaves to the sleeve of the coffee cup and two leaves on the lower right hand corner as if they’d fallen there. Of course I reached for a coffee themed stamp set for the sentiment which also happens to be from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card.

This clean and simple fall coffee themed card used very few supplies. I used the coffee cup gift card holder die set by Lawn Fawn, the magic iris fall leaves add-on die set by Lawn Fawn, the treat cart add-on: coffee stamp set by Lawn Fawn, VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, scrapbook paper, cardstock, and Bearly Art glue to adhere everything. This card was easy to make and I’m happy with the fall coffee theme.

Look around yourself and allow nature to inspire you. There is inspiration all around. Fall is my favorite season and I love a good cup of coffee! Nespresso is my coffee choice. Speaking of Nespresso, I think I’ll go make myself a nice hot cup of capriccio.
