I rarely ever make the same card twice. I prefer to create cards that are a little different each time. I guess technically these six cards are slightly different as I used different colors of ink and two different sentiments. They are all pretty similar though.
To create these cards, I used the With Heartfelt Sympathy stamp – stencil – die by Photoplay Say It With Stamps. I didn’t actually use the die, just the stamp and stencil. There are different sections on the stencil for each part of the image, making it easy to color the image.
I created the first card to send to a friend of mine who just lost her brother. The sympathy sentiment comes with this stamp set and makes for a really nice card. I stamped and embossed the image and sentiment onto a cardstock panel, then cut the panel down to 4 x 5 ¼ inches so there would be a decent border around the panel. I used the stencil to ink up the image. I used the same blue ink to ink the edges of an A2 card. When all the ink was dry, I glued the panel to the card.
I created three more cards using similar ink colors. I went with a slightly lighter blue on the images as well as the edges of the card. I used the same sentiment on one card. For the other two cards, I chose a happy birthday sentiment. I never seem to have enough birthday cards in my stash.

For the last two cards, I went with more vibrant colors for the flowers as well as a more vibrant blue for the backgrounds and edges. I made one a sympathy card and one a birthday card.

Even though these six cards are very similar, there is just enough of a difference to make me feel like I was creative. I can mail the sympathy card to my friend tomorrow and have two more sympathy cards in my stash as well as three birthday cards.
