Wow! I can hardly believe it’s April already. Spring is in the air and Easter is nearly here. This card kind of gives off spring and Easter vibes.
I create cards for a company called Kokorosa Studio. They send me cutting dies to create with and I create cards and post them on my social media. The cutting die I used on today’s card has a cute little bunny, an open present box, and several butterflies. I feel that this could be used for Easter or for a spring birthday, or just to send some love.
I cut the bunny from a white shimmer cardstock and the present from a shiny purple paper. I added a layer of holographic cardstock under the box so the polka dots are shimmery. The butterflies were cut from the same purple paper, the same holographic paper, and also a pink paper.
Before adhering the images to the card base, I used some distress oxide ink to give a bit of a pink background. Next, I glued all the pieces down and then worked on my sentiment. I decided on a ‘best wishes’ sentiment from the Sentimental Banners stamp and die set by Poppy Stamps. Once I glued the sentiment on, this card was finished.
Kokorosa has many options for cutting dies. You’re welcome to check them out here if you’d like. Chanti Art Creations (K77841) – kokorosastudio.com This link takes you to the die used on this card as well as the rest I’ll be creating with this week. There is a coupon code for a 25% discount if you’re interested. I do make a small commission on it but at no extra cost to you.
I hope you’re able to take some time to enjoy this lovely spring weather. May it give you the inspiration to be creative in whatever way you choose.
