Hey friends! Are you a coffee drinker? Do you like lattes? Do you enjoy coffee dates with friends? I created this card with my love of coffee in mind. I’m not much of a latte person, but I do love a good cup of black coffee. Nespresso to be exact. But on to the card…
I created this coffee themed card for the new challenge at Addicted to CAS with the new code word being CIRCLES. When I first saw the code word, my first thought was the circles left from coffee cups. I always find it interesting to see how the code words speak different things to each of us.
To create this card, I die cut the to go cup from the Fresh Brewed set by Sizzix/Tim Holtz and inked up the coffee cup with ground espresso distress oxide ink. I die cut the little oval center of the sleeve from a dark brown glitter cardstock and glued all the pieces together with art glitter glue.

To make the cup rings, I used my 2oz art glitter glue bottle, dipped it into my early espresso ink, and stamped it on a card panel several times. Using the same ink, I stamped ‘thanks a latte’ from the Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee stamp set by Lawn Fawn, making sure to stamp it inside one of the circles. I glued the panel to a white card base and glued the coffee cup over the circles.
Drinking coffee is wonderful; sharing coffee with friends is even better! Thanks for checking out my blog and I can’t wait to see what you create if you join me in this challenge.
