Hey friends! It’s been a bit since I’ve been here. My blog took a back burner to Christmas prep and then settling into the new year. I’ve been consistently busy on YouTube and Instagram and now plan to be more consistent on here as well.
Some of my crafty friends have inspired me to join some paper crafting blog challenges and I’m quite excited to participate.

To start off this exciting blog challenge journey, I’ve got a card for the All About challenge #1. This challenge is all about using something new at the start of the new year. This one ends soon so I’m happy to squeak in just in time.
For this card I used a new to me product. A crafty friend from Instagram mailed me a sweet package that included the Botanical 3D embossing folder from Sizzix/Tim Holtz. I used a metallic blue cardstock in the folder as the panel for my card. The texture and shine is amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice.
I die cut a couple of white flowers from the Florals 29 die set by Elizabeth Craft Designs. I curled the petals slightly to give some dimension. For the centers of the flowers I die cut some sequins out of the same metallic cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Sequin Mix die set and glued them to the flowers.
The sentiment I chose is from the Sunday Drive All-Occasion Sentiments stamp set by Spellbinders. I stamped it on white cardstock using VersaFine Clair nocturne ink and trimmed it to the size I wanted.
Finally, I used Bearly Art glue to adhere everything down to the card base. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.

I’m quite excited to join this challenge as well as a few others I’ve recently been introduced to. I hope you enjoy my creations and if you’re a crafty friend, consider joining some of these as well. I’m looking forward to posting more of my creations on here again. Until next time, hugs!
