Hey friends, I have created another card for Addicted to CAS. The new challenge is here and the code word this time is PURPLE. You can find the challenge here: Addicted to CAS and you’re more than welcome to play along with us.
For the purple theme, I decided to look in my bin of scrap paper and I found several different shades of purple. Some of the paper even had some texture to it. I picked five different shades of purple and cut them into strips of different lengths and widths. I kept the ends straight on one side and I dove tailed the other sides.
I glued the banners down, overlapping some of them. There’s no right or wrong way to do this, just overlap to your heart’s desire.
I could have chosen any sentiment to go along with this simple design, but I decided to go with ‘just a note’ and stamped it in VersaFine Clair monarch ink and die cut it with a banner die. The stamp and die are from the Sentimental Banners set by Poppy Stamps.
I’m excited to see how everyone interprets the PURPLE code word as I think the possibilities are endless! Please play along with us. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
